It's been a long time coming and I'm so fucking excited!! Since I'm too lazy right to type out all the goodies that are going to be included on the two jam packed DVDs I thought I would just cut and paste all the specs that were on Massacre Mafia Style's website .

"Also known as The Executioner and Like Father, Like Son, this wonder of seventies crime cinema was the brainchild of recording artist and entertainer Duke Mitchell as his own tribute to The Godfather, inspired by his own decades of experience in Night Clubs where he ended up rubbing shoulders with far more colorful characters than Mario Puzo ever could.

Terror reigns when Mimi (Duke Mitchell), the son of a deported Don, along with his associate Jolly Rizzo (a character inspired by Jilly Rizzo) wage a bloody war for control of the West Coast underworld, battling hordes of hard-boiled mobsters and deadly black pimps on their rise to the top!

Fashioned from a shoestring budget with Duke Mitchell as the sole writer, producer, director and star, Massacre remains a prime influence on postmodern filmmakers such as Quentin Tarantino and continues to wow audiences with it's own unique brand of Mafia mayhem.

This special edition two-disc release, available exclusively through massacremafiastyle.com and limited to 500 copies, represents the first authorized worldwide DVD release approved by Jeffrey "Duke" Mitchell and is packed with rare and never-before-seen background material on the film's legendary creator.

1975 / 79 Min. / Color / NTSC All-Regions

Disc 1:

* Three commentary tracks featuring Jeffrey Mitchell and family friends Frankie Ray (comedy writer for Lenny Bruce) and George Jacobs (Frank Sinatra's assistant and valet).
* Original Theatrical Trailer.
* Rare Radio Spots, narrated by Duke Mitchell himself!
* A preview for the upcoming release of
An Impressionistic Tribute to Jimmy Durante, a Duke Mitchell concert film unseen for over 30 years!

Disc 2:

* Like Father, Like Son, a brand-new documentary on the life and work of Duke Mitchell featuring new interviews with Jeffrey Mitchell and family friends Frankie Ray and George Jacobs along with rare home movies and archival footage.
* Extended interviews with Frankie Ray and George Jacobs.
* An extensive still gallery featuring hundreds of exclusive photographs from Duke Mitchell's own private collection spanning his early career all the way to Massacre, full of candid behind-the-scenes photos and all set to the music of Duke Mitchell and featuring three seventies-era tracks from Jeffrey Mitchell: Jacknife, Whisky and In A Dream.
* Rare audio recordings from one of Duke Mitchell's final live performances.

DVD-ROM Extras :

* The film's early treatments, rough draft and final shooting script available as PDFs."

VHS finds of the Day!

I picked up some awesome vhs today!!
